This two-day, walk-on-level course provides comprehensive weapons handling and live fire evolutions, both from the ground and in the air. Participants will also undergo basic helicopter familiarization and ground school training, administered by ATTS, to prepare for Aerial Target Engagement missions. New target arrays and extended flight times add to the experience, culminating in day and night gun runs.
Under the direct supervision of helicopter crew chiefs, participants will complete pre-flight checks and conduct multiple live fire engagements from various phases of flight, utilizing newly developed ground target courses.

Participants will receive a full briefing on range safety, course procedures, and live fire assessments on the flat range. The only prerequisite is a solid understanding of safe weapons handling and the four rules of firearm safety.Phase 2: Ground School and Helicopter Familiarization
This phase will focus on helicopter operations and safety. Participants will learn how to function efficiently and safely in and around the aircraft, performing multiple dry rehearsals with a static helicopter.Phase 3: Airborne Target Engagement
The final phase transitions to live fire missions. Aircrew members will complete multiple aerial gunnery iterations, targeting ground threats from forward flight, hovering, and orbiting positions. Each participant will be paired one-on-one with a Greenline Firearms Instructor to ensure precision and safety throughout.
